Year 5 blog
Classes 5A and 5B visited the Manchester Museum this week as part of our Big Question: Would you survive in a rainforest? We had to use our knowledge of rainforest wildlife and our detective skills to reveal a mystery creature! We learnt lots and had some fun too! If you don't like slithery things, look away now...
Which was your favourite animal and why???
That was soooo fun because they was a big DINOSAURS!!! And that was a good trip.
I loved going on this trip! I want to be a herpetologist when I'm older, so this has probably been one of my favourite trips so far in year 5. I loved seeing all of the reptiles and amphibians, like the Panther Chameleon and the Mandarin Rat Snake. They also have a section about conservation, and in it they had Lemur Leat Frogs, which are critically endangered. I wish I could go back in time and go on this trip again. It was great!
